2020 has been a tough year for smartphone manufacturers. As you know, the Covid-19 outbreak that broke out in China earlier this year soon affected the whole world. As such, curfews were declared in many countries. These bans also upset the economic balances.
Citizens whose income balance was disrupted had to postpone or change their smartphone purchase plans. Those who were thinking of buying an upper segment model turned to the middle segment, and those who were considering buying a middle segment turned to the entry segment.
This situation disrupted the work of OnePlus, which only produces upper segment models. The Chinese manufacturer also found the solution to develop models that appeal to different segments.
As it will be remembered, the Chinese manufacturer recently presented its first mid-segment model to technology enthusiasts. According to leaked reports, OnePlus has now rolled up its sleeves for a model that will not exceed $ 200 for the entry segment.
The Chinese manufacturer plans to use the Qualcomm-based Snapdragon 460 chipset in this model. The model, which will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, is also on the agenda to use a 6000 mAh battery. The full features of the phone, which will come with Android 10 with OxygenOS 10 support, will probably be clear in the coming days.
