How should we eat to protect our brains?

It differs from other living things with its advanced brain functions. Today, it has been proven that malnutrition damages the brain

Nutrition to protect health before getting sick; It is cheap, practical, and has no side effects. Treating a serious illness is both difficult and costly. For this, it is important to protect our brain from diseases by eating right. Nature contains the remedy for all kinds of troubles and pains. Fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, and animal foods in nature; make us healthier and happier. With a good nutritional habit, the cell is protected from destructive substances, cell aging is prolonged and DNA is not damaged. Thus, we are protected from diseases.

The existence of diseases such as blood pressure, diabetes, genetic structure, and environmental factors in the formation of brain diseases is indisputable.
The adequate and correct intake of foods necessary for life prevents the formation of many diseases.
So what foods should we consume for our brain?

Slowing down brain aging: Bee pollen, grape seeds, vitamins A, E, C, and B, fish, green tea, rosemary, ginger, dill, basil, and ginkgo Biloba, a type of plant, are beneficial. Naturally grown green leafy vegetables and seasonal fruits should be given weight.

Forgetfulness and memory impairment: Vitamin B, fish and fish oil, vitamin E and C, ginkgo Biloba, sage, green tea, fruit teas, coffee, tea, rosemary, ginger, black pepper are beneficial. Cardamom in particular has a stimulating effect on the brain.

To minimize the possibility of stroke: From childhood; avoiding fat, sugar, and floury foods; As animal food, consuming fish, chicken, milk, and yogurt, eating less red meat, eating plenty of vegetables and fruits, staying away from cigarettes, alcohol, fast food, and not gaining weight protect the person.

Sleeping disorder: Plenty of vegetables and fruits should be consumed, and animal foods should be avoided, except for yogurt and milk. Teas containing lemon balm, anise, and chamomile are good for insomnia. Coffee, tea, and acidic beverages should not be drunk in the evening.
B vitamins should be consumed abundantly in the diet.
Consuming almonds, cereal products, pasta, semolina, olive oil dishes, fresh dairy products, fruit juices, and fish is good for stress. I also recommend basil, lemon, mint, rose water.

BRAIN development begins in the womb and lasts until the age of 5. Intellectual development continues throughout life. In the first year of birth, all the nutrients needed for the brain are in breast milk. In later periods, it is necessary to consume eggs, meat, fish, legumes, green leafy vegetables and seasonal fruits, especially milk. Brain development is rapid during childhood. Complete intake of the foods I have mentioned; If necessary, taking vitamin supplements nourishes the brain and improves the quality of life in the future. Consumption of fast food type foods causes excess weight, a decrease in body resistance, and memory weakness.

The BRAIN is fed with nutrients carried by the blood. In advanced ages, the capacity to benefit from nutrients decreases due to the deterioration of the structures of the vessels leading to the brain and the decrease in blood flow. The nutritional needs of the brain change with age. If we maintain the diet in childhood and adulthood at an advanced age; We will not be able to gain benefits in terms of brain functions, and we will invite many health problems. in old age; The occurrence of systemic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol causes the prohibition of some nutrients by the physician. But the main purpose of nutrition; To prevent diseases by taking age-appropriate foods. In old age, avoiding red meat; instead, it is necessary to meet the need for meat, especially fish and chicken that is not fed with additives. Lots of green vegetables should be consumed. Sugary, excessively salty, floury items, rice pilaf, white bread, all sweets should be excluded from the diet as much as possible. It is beneficial to consume reasonable amounts of milk and yogurt, fresh fruits and vegetables, dried legumes, fish or fish oil, wholemeal bread in advanced age. In addition, vitamins and herbal medicine supplements can be taken in consultation with the physician.
